The delicious and colorful food that lies at the heart of Italian life was more than apparently what inspired Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2012 collection.
Some dresses reminiscent of the 1950′s outdoor market scene in a small town in southern Italy, From fruit and floral prints mixed and matched in the most unusual ways to vegetable pieces with typical oversized prints of eggplants, zucchinis, tomatoes, onions, and hot peppers that decorated fit-and-flare dresses with midriff-baring bra tops and full skirts.
Alongside the delicious foodie pieces, what was truly eye catching and adorable were definitely the intricate lacy details, sparkling gemstones and jewels that appeared at the second part of the show.
